Contributing to the growth and profitability of Liberty International Underwriters, this role will focus on relationship management, marketing, underwriting and control of products and services. This role will be primarily concentrated on the regional and metropolitan broker community.
The opportunity encompasses a wide variety of tasks including developing the strategy for LIU’s successful incursion into this distribution network. You will also be responsible for working across product lines to create and provide opportunities in this network by promoting LIU skills and appetite across the board. Product analysis, services geographic focus and broker intelligence will also be expected in order to provide strategy to the business line marketing and business plans to assist in the review, rating and underwriting of new and renewal business.
Liaising closely with other product line Underwriters, Risk Engineers and Claims Teams, you will also be focused on providing top level customer service. Other duties will include organising and attending broker conferences and events as well as maintaining and building strong relationships with various broker cluster groups.
To be successful in this role you will possess:

An advanced knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, procedures and techniques, including, but not limited to coverage issues, product lines, marketing, computers and product competition within the marketplace.

Degree, or equivalent training is advantageous.
